Conservatories - Woodgrain
Our uPVC conservatories are constructed using the well established Synseal Legend 70, made from 100% virgin compound in Nottinghamshire in the UK. Quality control checked for profile accuracy and colour consistency at every stage of manufacture, the Legend 70 system is very diverse and adaptable.
To widen the appeal of the low maintenance white uPVC conservatory, a woodgrain foil finish was developed to give a very realistic representation of timber. Available in either Light/Golden Oak [link to picture] or the darker Rosewood, [link to picture] these wood grain finishes look like, and feel like (yes, you can feel the grain!), a high quality wooden conservatory, with the no need for maintenance that sometimes comes with timber; certainly so and particularly with softwood.
The foil finish is applied to the virgin extrusion as soon as the material leaves the extruder, and is glued and pressed into the still-warm plastic compound; it becomes part of the profile. The wood grain foil, if scratched or damaged later in it’s life, can be ‘invisibly’ repaired by a specialist with the appropriate repair kit – so all is not lost if the children scrape their bikes along it, or delivery men scratch it squeezing through the doors!
A simple wash down once or twice a year with a mild detergent is all that is required to maintain the lustre and beauty of the wood grain finish.
