Our standard glass is high performance, low emissivity specially made for double glazed units only. The coating is extremely neutral in appearance and reflects long wave heat radiation back into the room. The coating is applied to the glass surface on the inside of the cavity and maximises solar heat gain from outside and minimises heat loss from within the room.
The process uses a magnetron device, coated in the UK. It apples a combination of multiple metal oxide layers to the high quality glass using a magnetically enhanced cathodic sputtering process under vacuum.
The glass is assembled into finished units in Cornwall with specially developed spacer and desiccant to avoid misting.
The assembled 4:20:4 configuration is filled with argon gas to maximise the thermal insulation and achieve our best in class u value of 1.1 W/m2K.

Self cleaning glass
Put the chore of window cleaning behind you thanks to low-maintenance, self-cleaning glass!
How does it work?
A transparent coating on the outside of the glass harnesses the power of both sun and rain to efficiently remove dirt and grime. Exposure to the UV rays present in daylight triggers the decomposition of organic dirt and prevents mineral dirt from adhering to the surface of the glass. It also turns it “hydrophilic” meaning that when it rains the water sheets across the glass, without forming droplets, rinsing away the broken down dirty residues. Only a small amount of sunlight is required to activate the coating so the self-cleaning function will work even on cloudy days. A simple rinse of water during dry spells will help keep windows clean.
Benefits
Self-cleaning glass does not need to be cleaned as frequently as normal glass. However it is not 100% maintenance free. It is kept clean using natural elements present in UV light from the sun and rain so the “chore” of window cleaning is considerably reduced.
- Less frequent cleaning because windows stay cleaner for longer.
- Much easier cleaning as less dirt and grime adheres to the glass.
- Save money with a reduced window cleaning cost.
- Ideal for hard to reach areas such as roofs.
- A permanent coating that lasts the lifetime of the window itself.
- Environmentally friendly with less frequent use of water and detergents.
Self-cleaning glass can be combined with other products for multi-functional glazing, such as thermal and solar control, noise reduction and enhanced safety and security.

We have a wide range of options available including toughened, tinted and solar control please contact our experts for further information on 01209 215 759
Georgian Bars
We are able to offer conventional straight or curved Georgian bars fitted in the glass cavity or surface mounted Georgian bars on the outside and inside surface of the glass for a more authentic look.
Leaded windows
We can offer a wide range of leaded windows from classic patterns to custom designed units from artwork templates.
Special shapes
Because not all windows are rectangular, we can supply windows to fit many shapes and curves.
