CONSTRUCTION OF uPVC PRODUCTS
Our uPVC products are manufactured from the Synseal Legend 70 Profile System. The profile is made in the UK and is 70mm from front to back providing both high strength and thermal performance.
- All our hinges are made from stainless steel and are fixed to the frame reinforcement with stainless steel screws. The stiffness of the hinges can be adjusted to suit your needs via a simple adjustment on a grub screw. We make extensive use of easyclean /egress side hinges to give the dual benefit of literally making the outside glass easy to clean and providing maximum opening area.
- We use shootbolt locks made from stainless steel which provide the highest type of security available. Our window locks incorporate two shootbolts and two rollercams. The handle itself automatically locks without the need for a key: simply push the button to operate the handle.
- We only use internally beaded profile – this will only permit glass fitting or removal from inside the building for safety and security.
- The Legend 70 system features co-extruded gaskets and clearline glazing for a neat appearance. We offer uPVC in plain white, and also in realistic woodgrain finishes to the outside, or to both sides - available in Light Oak and Rosewood.
- All our frames are fully reinforced for maximum strength, Aluminium reinforcing is an option where appropriate.
We can supply all types of windows and doors including vertical sliders, side hung, top hung, French windows, French doors, sliding patio, and speciality items such as bi fold doors - just ask.
HARDWARE & SECURITY
We take security issues very seriously; only fitting locks, hinges and handles that we consider to be durable, strong and reliable. Our door locks feature opposing hook locks as well as rollercams and shootbolts for excellent security. Our door and window handles are chosen to match in style and we also have a designer series of door handles available to add the special touch.
GLASS
We supply as standard, sealed units that are extremely thermally efficient with a u value of 1.1. This is achieved by a combination of softcoat on the protected inside of the 4mm glass, and filling the 20mm cavity with argon gas.
FINISHES IN uPVC
We offer uPVC in plain white, and also in realistic woodgrain finishes to the outside, or to both sides. Available grain patterns are Light Oak and Rosewood.
uPVC IN ANY COLOUR
We can also paint conservatories, windows, doors and other uPVC products in almost any colour. We mix and apply the special paint in our own spraying facility to produce a tough, custom coloured finish. If a colour you require is not in any of our standard colour ranges, we can colour match to a sample you supply.
TIMBER
We use selected timbers, either West African utile or European oak, sourced from environmentally managed forest as our timbers of choice. Other timbers can be used, dependant upon the application - please ask when you talk to our specialists. We can finish the timber with a variety of stains or micro-porous paint treatments in our specialist spray facility.
We use modern hardware in our timber products giving similar levels of anti corrosion and security to our uPVC systems.
