The profile is deeper than our window and door profile because two thicknesses of frame, whether fixed or sliding, needs to be accommodated within the depth of the overall frame. It is 86mm from front to back, and is both strong and durable. The fixings are all concealed, so there are no ugly screw heads to see, and the co-extruded gasket leaves a neat finish at the glazing with clean sight lines.
